Stone Central were contacted to conduct a survey to determine the scope of works required on this neo-classical building in the borough of Trafford, Greater Manchester. The steel-framed building has two stories plus basement and attic floors, with a mansard roof. The building was constructed with a portico with a Doric Order column and pillar on either side and a wrought-iron parapet with a circle motif above.
Project Detail
Survey: The design also included a clock tower which rises in stages. A cherry picker would not have been sufficient to survey the entirety of the building, and so we used a drone to ensure we could cover and access all parts. We were able to take stills of the building from multiple vantage points which ensured we had all the details we required to plan the work needed.
We then presented the full report to the client and were subsequently appointed to carry out the works.
