Stone Central were contacted by the client to conduct a drone survey on this 106-year-old iconic building in the heart of Liverpool.
The building on Mount Pleasant forms part of the campus of the University of Liverpool and sits next to the beautiful Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King.
Project Detail
Due to the location of the building in the heart of the university campus in Liverpool city centre, we were conscious that we needed to keep any disruption to staff, students and the general public to a minimum. We conducted a drone survey of the four storey building to examine the works required. This allowed us to plan the works and only use scaffolding where needed thereby minimising disruption to all parties.
The work required included pointing, fixing and restorative works to the stone and we were able to carry this out while keeping both costs and disruption down.
