Project Detail

This beautiful house was originally designed in an Arts and Crafts style with neo-Jacobean detailing using red brick with terracotta details, high-quality joinery, and ironwork. In the late 20th century the building was converted into seven separate apartments and the stable block replaced with a large garage and storage building. The property was then privately purchased and planning began in 2018 and work commenced early in 2019 to restore the building into one luxurious and exclusive home, together with an extensive garage block and orangery. We were appointed by the client to help restore the building back to its former glory.

We completed stonework for beautiful features including a new orangery, barley twist terracotta chimney pots, and bay windows. We also restored and repaired the garages and added new stone windows which helped to improve the aesthetic of the exterior of the building. By the request of the client, we also incorporated some hand-carved bespoke features into the stone above the main entrance to give a personal touch to the finished restoration.
